Sony Music Canada's recent signee Tedy has just released a new and emotionally charged single titled "Boys Don't Cry".
Tedy is a 27-year old Montreal-based rhythmic pop artist looking to make a powerful connection with his listeners through his soulful lyrics and harmonious beats. His latest release "Boys Don't Cry" is an emotive and expressive journey, in which he moves through various stages of fear, sadness, acceptance, and finally empowerment. It compliments the ever-growing party of soulful pop and R&B music hailing from Canada and makes you excited to think about what is coming next. "Boys Don't Cry" was produced by Mike Sonier (Noah Cyrus, The Weeknd, Julia Michaels, ABRA, Maggie Rogers) and co-written with David Charles Fischer (Bülow, renforshort, SHAED and Cheat Codes).
Tedy is set to release his debut EP Boys Don’t Cry in fall 2020 via Sony Music Canada. This new EP will include his previous single “War” and his first major label single “Stuck,” which is a powerful song co-produced by Mike Wise (Bulow, Ellie Goulding, Chainsmokers, Upshal) and Herag Sanbalian. "Stuck" about sadness, depression and self-destruction and ultimately highlights why its important for people to accept these emotions in order to move forward. Tedy finds power in filling his songs with emotions and we expect the upcoming release to captivate listeners even more so.
For me, writing songs is therapeutic. - Tedy
