Colombian Singer VALÉ Releases “So Called Friends”

Her latest single “so called friends” is the perfect track to bump late into the night.

At only 17 years old, VALÉ is a fiercely talented vocalist and songwriter from Barranquilla, Colombia. “so called friends” explores the balance you need to find between yourself and friends who may have a different point of view. Her brilliant take on her current experiences as a 17-year-old makes her tracks relevant and allows you to empathize with the lyrics deeply.

Her experience with music goes back to when she was 6 years old in her school choir. By her early teens, pop and R&B music took over her world. She decided it was time to forge her own way in the music industry. Now she spends her time between Los Angeles and Barranquilla working on new music alongside producers like Heavy Mellow (who has produced Halsey and Jaden Smith).

So far in 2021, she has debuted “so called friends” which is moody yet empowering and perfect for your chill playlist. VALÉ’s infectious melodies, catchy hooks, and standout vocals are bound to win fans from all around the world, establishing VALÉ as the leader in a new generation of Colombian pop artists.
