The collaboration we all wanted to happen finally happened.
Thundercat, being an artist that is always full of surprises, tickled fans during his Adult Swim Fest live performance by bringing out Ariana Grande. The pop artist fresh from releasing her latest full length album “positions” donned cat ears right beside Thundercat. The two performed the standout single “Them Changes” from Thundercat’s 2017 album Drunk.
Ariana is no stranger to performing this track specifically and it showed when she took over mid way through the song right before things got warpy. She had previously performed it back in 2018 for BBC Radio in their Live Lounge. When asked about the song collaboration Thunder says “It feels like Ariana and I are forever connected through Mac (Miller) and this is part of the healing process.”
